Arta Musaraj CV

Prof. Dr Arta Musaraj, Ph.D, was born in Vlora, Albania, in August 28th, 1974. She is an Albanian scholar, academician, Full Professor in various European and Albanian Universities.
She has around 30 years of academic experience as a Professor and Dean, Vice Rector and Rector in a number of public and private Albanian universities. Awarded the title of “Honorary Citizen of the Region, ”issued by the Region of Vlora, she holds many other honorary titles: “Gratitude of the City” and “Protagonist of the Year” issued by the Municipality of Vlora City and ”Honorary Citizen” by the Brataj Municipality (Mesaplik: family origine).
She was the first female Former Founding Rector of a university throughout Albania, she is specialized in different prominent universities in the world, working closely as a scientific collaborator with many scholarly journals. She has a large curriculum with vast research, and scientific and editorial contributions in leading prominent international scientific journals.
From January to September 2013, she was Deputy Defence Minister of the Republic of Albania.

Prof. Arta Musaraj, Ph.D. is a distinguished Albanian Academician. She is the founding editor in chief of Academicus International Scientific Journal, published in English Language; the most significant Albanian journal, part of the biggest international electronic libraries.
She leads the Entrepreneurship Training Center, founded with the support of IFC at the World Bank since 2003. Musaraj was for over three years the first and only female university Rector in Albania's history of higher education; and has served as Dean in the College of Economics and Law at the “Ismail Qemali” University, Vlora and Vice Rector for Scientific Research and International Relations at "Luarasi" University, Tirana.
Musaraj is a Member of the College of Professors at the Ph.D. School and Master program courses at the University “La Sapienza” Rome, Italy and at the Global and International Studies at the Salamanca University, Spain.
Has been twice selected to participate at the Woman’s Leadership Forum by Harvard University Business School.
Since 1996, Musaraj is a professor in several universities where she lectures in Economic Sciences, Business and Management and Strategic Communication. She has authored many university text books; monographies, scientific analysis and articles, tutored several PhD candidate thesis in different European universities, is a certified expert, consultant and Trainer of IFC and the World Bank. Has been a leading contributor in the Certified Master Class in Business and Administration Communications organized by the World Bank and its subsidiaries. In the last decade has represented many international organizations in establishing courses, coordinating conferences and training for business and administrations in South East Europe.
Prof. Musaraj is a member of the editorial board in several international scientific journals, a scientific research collaborator and speaker in prestigious European Universities.
