Academicus International Scientific Journal is an Open Access Journal.

This means that all content is freely available without financial, legal, or technical barriers to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, print, copy, distribute, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access, the ECHO Charter, the Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing and Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities, “Open Science free for all”.

Users are obliged to proprerly cite the source (Academicus International Scientific Journal) and the author.

All articles content of this journal is licensed under a Creative Commons License of
Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0).

Academicus ISJ, by sharing the principles of the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science at the 41st session of UNESCO General Conference in November 2021, is member of the Initiative for Open Citations (i4OC), Open Abstracts (I4OA) and Open Archives Initiative for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH), which is a multi-stakeholder project between scholarly publishers, infrastructure organizations, librarians, researchers to make scholarly citation data openly available to enable the creation of new and better metrics.

In order to preserve the digital content of each article in open access within a long-term storage, all content published in Academicus ISJ have been archived in 2 institutional repositories, one of them in OA, in Portico Repository and at an Institutional Repository with DSpace digital service.

The author is allowed to self-archive in open access repositories  and any website only post-print articles, with our publishing format, only after the publication online of their work at the Academicus ISJ website (without asking the publisher for any authorization) and, in this case, must cite Academicus ISJ as the publisher of this work.
