Academicus International Scientific Journal
The journal “Academicus” aims to be a valid publication in English language, double blind peer reviewed, with influence in scientific environments not only at a regional level, but also effective for the creative work and great responsibility to its collaborators in the fields of economy, social sciences, low and communication. This statute coordinates and manages editing of the scientific journal “Academicus” and specifies rules and procedures of the Editorial Board as well as and principles applicable to the Journals edition.
Journal Specification
  1. In accordance with The Founding Act and its Statute, the international scientific journal “Academicus” is a scientific publication with an International Editorial Board. The journal is a periodical, publishing results of research and scientific activities to the including a wide variety of fields and sciences with direct impact on the economic, social, legal and communication field. This journal will collect works and researches developed on the point of view and disciplinary structuring of these sciences.
  2. The Journal publishes articles, the contents of which must to a scientific work, which is a result of the research and scientific activities of its author(s).
  3. The Journal publishes the latest knowledge in those sciences, contributing to improved the socio - economic indicators of the region expanding the region concept from the Southwestern Balkan, to the Mediterranean, Europe and wider.
  4. The underlying principles of publishing are: originality, topicality and applicability in practice.
  5. The International Scientific Journal “Academicus” welcomes works or researches resulted from researchers and academics efforts in different fields, who are able to fulfill the scientific and editorial requirements of this journal.
  6. The Journal is administered by the Journal Editorial Board which is responsible for its general management in coordination with the Editor in Chief.
  7. The journal is semi-annual, has an ISSN and is being monitored by prestigious international agencies which list and measure the Impact Factor and has been included in internationally well-known for publication in these fields data bases.
  8. Articles to be published in the Journal shall be submitted in the English language and according to the Science journal “ Academicus” regarding submission of articles
  9. The present article must be an original work, which does not contain classified information. This is a responsibility of the authors and in case of controversies the Albanian legislation is applied.
  1. Author(s) (hereinafter referred to as the author) is responsible for elaborating and submitting articles to the Editorial Board
  2. The author of an article is responsible for its scientific and linguistic quality in conformity for all publication provision as in Right of Publication and Publication Ethics.
    Only works previously not published elsewhere or sent for publishing to other the journals will be considered to publishing by the journal. Academicus ISJ is an Open Access Journal and does not consider for publishing pre-print or working papers previously mounted online.
    Authors are allowed to self-archive in open access repositories only post-print articles, with our publishing format only after the publication online of their work at the Academicus ISJ website and citing Academicus ISJ as the publisher of this work.
  3. Authors are required to submit articles by uploading it at the journal website by following the specified procedure as in Authors category. In order to protect specific characteristics present in the article or in case of failure of the above mentioned upload, authors can send the proposal to the e-mail editorial address:, which confirms receipt through an email for five calendar days. Otherwise the authors should re-send the article. The submission and processing of articles is free of charge.
  4. Based on the observations and recommendations of the Editorial Board, authors shall modify or correct the article submitted. A modified final copy is to be returned to the editor's address: following up the above mentioned procedure and taking in consideration deadlines the editor sets.
  5. Articles not accepted for publishing shall be returned to the author via the executive editor, together with the reason for return signed by the Chairman of the Editorial Board.
  6. Authors of accepted articles shall receive 1 (one) copy of the publication containing the published article.
  1. A reviewer is assigned to assess the content of each article submitted to the Journal. The reviewer shall prepare a review assessment in English
  2. The Editorial Board selects the reviewers group for each research field covered by the journal, basing in the UDC classification.
  3. Reviewer must be selected form academic and scientific environments with outstanding reputation at European level and even further. Their review and assessments, will assure the higher standards of the journal in terms of scientific content and publishing standard.
  4. The reviewer receives the article “in blind” from the journal’s database which lists the proposals according the scientific fields he/she covers, having a review limit of one article per issue. Each proposal is available to two reviews.
  5. The reviewers´ responsibility is to submit an overall assessment of the article, focusing on its originality and contribution, specify its quality and scientific as well as practical value. All comments must be sufficiently justified and the assessment conclusion clear and unambiguous. In his/her assessment, the reviewer must state whether:
    1. Recommends the article for publication.
    2. Recommends the article for publication after taking due regard to comments.
    3. Recommend the article for publication after eliminating formal deficiencies.
    4. Recommend the article for publication in spite of partial reservations.
    5. Does not recommend the article for publication
  6. The conclusions of a reviewer’s assessment are considered as recommendations. The Editorial Board has an exclusive right to decide on article’s publication. In the case of an even division of votes the vote of the Editorial Board Chairman is the deciding vote.
  7. The time allocated for elaboration of the reviewer’s assessment is 4 weeks.
Right of Authorship and Publication Ethics
  1. According to the law, the author of a work is an individual who through his or her mental inventive activity has created certain work. Should this work be a product of inventive activity of several individuals, the work is subject to authorship in common.
  2. The author is in possession of:
    1. Personal rights of authorship, e.g. the authorship protection, right, the work inviolability right, the right for public use in a way not diminishing its value etc.
    2. Rights of property, e.g. the right to decide on use of the work etc.
  3. The author grants his or her permission for publication and distribution of the work by submitting the article to the Editorial Board in order to publish it in the Journal “Academicus” taking in consideration that:
    1. The International Scientific Journal “Academicus” is a scientific and academic journal with registered trade mark protecting it’s own rights and intellectual rights of authorship.
    2. When a certain work is being published at “Academicus”, this publication is considered intellectual property of the International Scientific Journal “Academicus”. The author in order to re- publish this work must formally inform the editor at the email address: and only after receiving the approval from this editor can proceed with re-publishing at the editor he asked the permission of re-publishing of this work.
Presentation of articles
  1. Title of the article (followed by subtitles if there are) (each may contain up to 120 characters)
  2. Name and Surname of the author(s) including his scientific title or grade.
  3. The nomination of the university, research center or other scientific entity where the author(s) work.
  4. Abstract (which must contain from 150 - 200 words)
  5. Keywords (from 4-7 words)
  6. UDC code of the article
  7. The text of the article must contain from 3000 - 6000 words and must be structured as below:
    1. Introduction (which must contain up to 150 words)
    2. Analysis and Results (in case the paper needs the inclusion of Methodology and Experimentation they contain from 200-250 words)
    3. Conclusion
  8. Bibliography and References (which must not surpass 50 titles) must meet one of the following standards: MLA, APA, CSE, Ch/T. References during the text must be followed by a progressive number with superscript at the end of the word and explanations must be placed at the end of the page in which the reference is being inserted.
  9. Figures (which must be no more than 5, following the standard formats jpeg, gif, png) must have a resolution 300-600 dpi and be introduced in separate files, showing exactly the place where they will be placed, followed by the figures nomination.
  10. Graphics and Schemas must be created in a vector graphic format (CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, Auto Cad) in separate files, showing exactly where they will be placed, followed by the graphics or schema nomination.
  11. Tables must be created in Excel format, in separate files, showing exactly where they will be placed, followed by the tables nomination.
